Download PPFD Meter | Plant Grow Light Meter | LUX DLI APK free
We worked hard and made simple and elegant PPFD meter without additonal sensors!
PPFD Meter uses the phone's built-in ambient light sensor to collect LUX information. If you don't have a good one, you can also use a UNI-T UT383 BT with Bluetooth.
UNI-T performs superior to any built-in sensor we have tested. We are not partners with UNI-T. It's just one of the best LUX meter with Bluetooth connection having a price tag lower than 20 bucks.
Whichever sensor is used during the measurement, PPFD Meter converts LUX into PAR and calculates PPFD and DLI simultaneously in a sleek UI. You can also record your measurements and view them on a graph.
As a source selection, we only provide general conversions.
We are also working hard to provide specific conversions for popular grow lights. Until then you must select the best option which describes your lights.
Here is an example to help on this goal:
If you are using a quantum board build with 3k and 5k diodes,
choose 4k, if the 3k diode count is equal to 5k ones.
choose 3.5k, if the count of 3k diodes twice as many as 5k ones.
On top, if your board has 660nm go one level warmer.
choose 3.5k, if the 3k diode count is equal to 5k ones and you have 660nm.
choose 3k, if the count of 3k diodes twice as many as 5k ones and you have 660nm.
Do you also UV (below 400nm) & FR (above 700nm) diodes?
These ranges are not truly detectable without special hardware, close them if you can. If you can not, just ignore them.
